Donald Linane, cofounder of LDA, has been practicing in the field of architecture for over thirty five years. He has actively participated in all phases of the design and construction process. He is committed to delivering value to each client through personalized service, leadership and great design. Mr. Linane has guided many of LDA’s most notable projects including the first new H&M store in Mexico and the renovation of Arrowhead Town Center in Phoenix, Arizona. He graduated with a Bachelors degree in Architecture from the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, NM.
James Drews, cofounder of LDA, has over thirty seven years of experience in architecture and interior design with an emphasis on specialty retail stores and entertainment venues. With a commitment to creating vibrant retail spaces, Mr. Drews has been involved in all phases of the design and construction process, from initial programming and concept development through build out and fixturization. Mr. Drews is responsible for LDA’s noteworthy projects including H&M Flagship store at The Forum Shops in Las Vegas. He received his Bachelors degree in Architecture from Valparaiso University in Valparaiso, IN and his Masters in Architecture from UCLA.
Richard Brett, a Principal at LDA leads our Design and Management Team. He supplies a wealth of energy, enthusiasm, and design expertise to LDA. Richard provides our clients with Design, Planning, and Management assistance. He brings over twenty five years of experience in design, planning, and production of retail and commercial projects throughout the United States and abroad. His interpersonal communication skills, a strong background in contract documentation, and a thorough knowledge of the construction process augment Richard’s design skills. Mr. Brett received his BA in Architecture from California Polytechnic University in Pomona, CA.
Jose, an Associate with LDA has extensive background in planning, design and production with over twenty five years of architectural experience. Mr. Santiago received his Bachelors of Architecture from Woodbury University and began his career in designing high end custom residential projects for high profile clients in the Beverly Hills, Pacific Palisades and Bel-Air communities in Los Angeles. Since he has obtained extensive project experience and has been responsible for a diverse portfolio, working closely with developers and retailers on mall expansions, renovations and store roll out programs throughout the United States. As an Associate, Jose plays a prominent role in shaping the planning and architectural direction of the firm. He is an integral part of our project management team.
Heriberto, an Associate with LDA, has an extensive background in commercial, retail and housing development projects, with over ten years of multi-family residential design and development experience. At LDA, he has managed the design and construction of numerous projects including H&M stores throughout California and the south western US, and has worked with national retail developers such as Macerich and Westfield. Heriberto’s experience ranges from site acquisition, financing, entitlements, design, and construction administration. He has managed numerous residential projects totaling over 600 units. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from Woodbury University and is currently working towards a CA state architectural license.
Juan received his Bachelors degree in Architecture from the University of California at Berkeley in 2003. He began his career with LDA just months after graduating. He has over twelve years of experience in all aspects of project management from pre-programming through design and construction administration. Juan has successfully managed and led various retail projects throughout the United States for some of our high-end retail clients. He is a licensed architect in California and a LEED Accredited Professional.
Mr. Bruce Parsons brings over thirty five years of experience in architecture and construction. He is an integral member of our Production and Management team. As an Architect he has worked on a variety of commercial, retail project types with a focus on department stores and other large-scale complex projects. Bruce has extensive experience with multiple diverse project types, including office buildings, post offices, congregate care facilities, hospitals, dental centers, schools, gymnasiums, banks, hotels, theaters, industrial parks and industrial facilities, big-box retailers, department stores, and shopping centers.
Isabelle is a versatile member of the LDA team with over 10 years of experience in the field of architecture. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Architecture in Switzerland, where she practiced as a registered architect. Her experience includes retail, public education as well as residential type projects. Isabelle is familiar with all phases of design from project inception through contract documents and into construction. Isabelle has become an integral part of LDA’s project management team. Her work experiences including her project management role for the first H&M project in Mexico, have furthered her ability to provide our clients with excellent service.
Steven Ruiz is a versatile and multitalented member of our production and management team. He offers over twenty years of experience with an extensive technical background in planning, specifications, construction documentation, and construction field administration. His professional experience allows him to offer creative technical solutions as well as careful planning and management assistance to our clients. He started in the field of architecture designing broadcast facilities which included space planning and technical design interfacing broadcast systems into the built environment. Since joining LDA, Steven has worked with many retail and commercial clients including big box retailers such as Guitar Center, Sport Chalet and Robinsons-May.
Nivert is a licensed Architect with over twenty years of diverse experience. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from the University of Alexandria in Egypt. She subsequently worked in Canada for a number of years before moving to the US in 2003. Nivert is a licensed Architect in Arizona and is currently working on her reciprocity for a California license. She has successfully completed a wide variety of project types including retail, commercial, shopping centers, high-end residential, senior housing, school evaluations and renovations. Nivert brings a deep understanding of architecture working from analysis and concept design to construction administration and is a valuable member of our production team.
Celina is an integral part of the LDA design team. She brings over ten years of experience in architectural design, having developed design and construction documents for high-end retail, institutional, residential, and retail projects. She obtained a Master degree in Architecture from USC and a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from UC Berkeley. Celina is a very talented designer and store planner with extensive 3D modeling and rendering experience. With LDA she has designed multiple retail environments for specialty, high-end retailers both in the United States and in Europe, The Middle East, South East Asia, Russia and India.
Edison is a versatile member of our production team offering more than twelve years of experience in retail and commercial architecture. He obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from USC, Since joining LDA, he has worked on projects of varying scales. Edison is familiar with all phases of design and construction. He has worked with national retailers on their store rollout programs across the United States, and recently completed a retail store concept in Lujiazu, China.
Paul is a versatile member of our design team with over ten years of experience in retail store planning, high-end residential for five star resorts and hotels, civic buildings and commercial tenant improvements. He has produced design development and construction document packages including all aspects of architectural/construction detailing and design. He is familiar with all phases of design from early concept through contract documents and construction. Paul has become an integral part of our project management team working closely with various retailers on their store roll out programs.
Sean is a versatile member of the LDA design team, creating new concepts for future projects as well as developing design and construction documents for a variety of commercial and retail projects. Sean received his Bachelor’s degree in Architecture and has been working in the field for the past ten years. Sean’s professional experience is multi disciplinary, working in furniture / fixture design, graphic, interior, and architectural design.
Hector obtained his Bachelor’s of Architecture degree from Woodbury University and has been practicing in the field of architecture for over twenty years. Mr. Diaz has an interest in furniture design. He has been part of the design team for numerous project types including hospitals, parking structures, office buildings, and work within the studios. At LDA, he has provided project management services for a number of our in-line retail clients.
Don Ou has been practicing in the field of architecture for over twenty three years. He received his master degree in Architecture from University of California, Los Angeles. Mr. Ou extensive experience includes design development, contract document, and quality control coordination for shopping centers, in-line retail, commercial and hospitality. Don is an important member of our project management team.
Edgar is a key member of our design and management team. With a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from Woodbury University he offers ten years of experience in planning, design and management for retail, educational, housing and tenant improvement projects. He has a thorough understanding of all aspects of each phase from design through construction administration. As a LEED accredited professional, Edgar has managed projects for LEED certification.
