In 1996, LDA design group was founded by architects and longtime colleagues Donald D. Linane, AIA and James E. Drews, AIA.  Together they envisioned a company that would unite creative and talented professionals working on exciting projects and creating unique built environments which enhance customer experiences.  LDA set a mission to provide world-class architecture to improve communities and enrich people’s lives through a collaborative process, integrated design, exceptional service and close principal involvement.  Throughout the years, LDA has developed a reputation of reliability and exceptional design.  Today, LDA design group has become a top leading architectural firm working with highly renowned clients and leading the way in creating dynamic experiential mixed-use environments that connect people and places across the country and abroad.

We understand that in today’s dynamic marketplace, in order to drive overall performance, today’s social and shopping destinations must be experiential.  With roots in retail architecture, LDA has developed extensive knowledge of retails many manifestations.  Our experience gives us the capability to integrate multiple uses into a project, including retail, restaurants, entertainment, offices and multifamily housing.  LDA’s licensed professionals maintain active architectural licenses in over forty states, giving us the capacity to practice on projects throughout the country.
