Rising to the Role of Associate
Heriberto provides a broad understanding of the design and development process. He graduated from Woodbury University School of Architecture in 1999 and completed the USC Lusk’s Center for Real-Estate Program in June 2001. He commenced his architectural career by focusing on affordable and special needs housing design for both profit and not-for-profit developers. His residential design experience was initially tailored to low-income families, tenants with special needs, and Single Room Occupancy (SRO) housing that included community, educational and health support components. Heriberto’s diverse mix of residential projects consisted of both new and rehabilitation construction. Throughout his career, Heriberto’s residential experience continued to expand to include design work for market rate rental and for sale housing. He has managed numerous residential projects totaling over 600 units. He has worked with a range of residential developers such as D.R. Horton, Century Housing, The Olson Company, A Community of Friends, SRO Housing, New Economics for Women, and East Los Angeles Community Corporation. During his career, Heriberto also worked at the Cesar Chavez Foundation, a non-profit developer, where he gained valuable real estate experience in the areas of site acquisition, financing, entitlements, project management, and construction administration. This development experience allows him to better relate to and understand our client’s needs.
